📅 Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kabul
Pick-up at airport, transfer to hotel.
Tailored Afghan Clothes and welcome dinner with traditional Afghan cuisine.
Day 2: Kabul City Tour
Visit Babur’s Gardens, Darul Aman Palace, National Museum, and Shah-do Shamshira Mosque. Shahre Naw, Antique Street (Murgh Proshee) Explore historical and local markets.
Day 3: Kabul → Maidan Wardak → Bamyan
Drive through Wardak valleys to Bamyan. Evening rest at hotel.
Day 4: Bamyan Exploration
Visit Buddha Niches, Shahr-e-Gholghola, Zuhak Citadel, and Band-e-Amir National Park.
Day 5: Bamyan → Ghazni → Kandahar
Stops at Ghazni Citadel, Minarets, and Tomb of Sultan Mahmood of Ghazni. Continue to Kandahar.
Day 6: Kandahar Tour
Explore Tomb of Ahmad Shah Durrani, Chilzina Fortress, Shrine of the Cloak of the Prophet, Aino Mina city and old bazaars.
Day 7: Kandahar → Herat (road)
Drive through scenic desert and mountain routes. Evening visit to Herat Citadel. (Bride of Cities)
Day 8: Herat Exploration
Visit Grand Mosque, Musalla Complex, Qala Ikhtiyaruddin, Bostan Arus, Minarets of Gawhar Shad, Band e Bakhshabad, Band Subzk and traditional markets.
Day 9: Herat → Ghor (Jam Minaret) → Kabul
Drive to Ghor to see Jam Minaret (UNESCO World Heritage), then continue to Kabul. Overnight in Kabul.
Day 10: Kabul → Parwan → Samangan
Parwan (Birthplace of Imam Abu Hanifa) (Shir Yakh Valley) Drive north to visit Samangan Takht-e-Rustam Buddhist Stupa.
Day 11: Samangan → Tangi Tashqurghan → Mazar-i-Sharif
Arrive in Mazar. Evening walk around the Blue Mosque.
Day 12: Mazar & Balkh Exploration
Full day tour of Blue Mosque, ruins of Balkh, and local bazaars taste local specialties Shir Yakh and Qabuli Pulo and visit Hairatan and enjoy fresh fish from Amu River.
Day 13: Mazar → Kabul (road)
Return by road to Kabul. Farewell dinner and preparation rest.
Day 14 — Kabul → Nuristan (long drive / full travel day)
Early departure from Kabul; scenic drive through Laghman & Kunar valleys.
Stops for rest/tea and photo points. Arrive Nuristan area (Parun/Kamdesh region) late afternoon.
Check in to local lodge/guesthouse. Evening cultural welcome with local hospitality.
Day 15 — Nuristan Exploration → Drive back to Kabul
Guided morning hike/village visits: wood-carved houses, river gorges, local crafts and culture.
Afternoon departure back toward Kabul (long return drive). Overnight in Kabul (late arrival possible depending on road/time).
Day 16 — Final / Departure
Final transfer to Kabul International Airport for departure.
